Vessel Safety Checks at Local Marinas

Free Coast Guard Approved Vessel Safety Check (VSC)

Qualified examiners will stay until all boaters requesting an exam have received one. These safety checks are an important part of the overall effort to reduce boating accidents, and are appropriate for all recreational boats regardless of size or age. An official decal is provided to each boat meeting all state and federal requirements. If your boat has a problem we schedule a follow up exam if desired. Because equipment and systems aboard a vessel tend to wear out or deteriorate with age it is a good idea to have a yearly safety check.
